Can I make Resolutions in July too?

I've been really slacking on this blog, so I'm re-resoluting to write an adventure every day.

Besides, I need the practice.  I just signed up for my TESOL course so that I can go abroad which means that my dreams of being a TRAVEL WRITER may actually not be so far fetched!

My adventure today is PEOPLE.  I'm about to share a library story that has happened to me more times and in countless ways than I can even explain.  This is how it went down today:

PATRON: "You!" Points angrily at me.  "Come here!"

She leads me to I's in the Adult Fiction section.

"Where are the rest of the I's?" Gestures to the bottom of the shelf.  "You're missing some!"

ME: "They continue up onto the next shelf." Shows her around to the other side.

PATRON: "What?  That makes no sense whatsoever.  You people can't even keep the letters of the alphabet together!"

I've also finished two paintings already, which is like the best therapy ever:

I know both are silhouette paintings, but silhouettes are just so much easier!

I've also started a new sewing project...because I have a sewing machine now!!!!  Say goodbye to buying clothes...lol, just kidding!

Cover for Book 2 (and New Cover for Book 1!)

Since Book 2 is currently in the process of editing and probably won't be published for a couple weeks, here is the unveiled (LOL) cover for it!!!  Also, have I mentioned how pleased I am that I finished it?!  Because I've never written a 300 page novel before and I feel great about this!

On the way to Mesa Verde saw this beautiful sight.....nothing makes me feel more hopeful than seeing just how beautiful the world is around me. 

Remember that one time I said this blog was for daily adventures?

Today in the library this wonderful elderly man asked me to help him, because whenever he logged onto his email his "letters aren't there.  There's normally a lot of letters, but today there's only two!"

After almost twenty minutes of both trying to understand his questions and trying to fix the problem, I realized instead of hitting log on, he kept hitting create new account...

There now may be four or five new accounts associated with this guy.
